Red Cards Policy



By-law1: A player will be suspended for one week if he or she accumulates three yellow cards over one competition.

SOCCERNSW FUTSAL INFRINGEMENT PENALTIES
OFFENCES AGAINST PLAYERS MINIMUM MAXIMUM
a) kicking 2 weeks 12 weeks
b) going over the ball 4 weeks 1 year
c) violent charging 2 weeks 8 weeks
d) head-butting 4 weeks 12 weeks
e) punching / fighting 2 weeks 8 weeks
f) elbow to the head 4 weeks 12 weeks
g) elbow to the body 2 weeks 8 weeks
h) grabbing to the hair 4 weeks 12 weeks
i) rugby tackle 2 weeks 8 weeks
j) spitting 4 weeks 12 weeks
k) foul or abusive language 2 weeks 8 weeks
l) persistent misconduct 1 week 8 weeks
m) indecent actions 5 weeks 20 weeks
n) dangerous play 1 week 4 weeks
OFFENCES AGAINST OFFICIALS    
o) threatening a referee by word/action 12 weeks Life
p) tripping a referee or assitant referee 1 year Life
q) pushing with an open hand, shoulder or hip 1 year Life
r) striking with the ball or other objects 1 year Life
s) striking, kicking or elbowing Life Life
t) spitting 8 weeks 5 years
OTHER OFFENCES  
u)inciting the crowd 10 weeks 6 years
v) attacking or fighting with spectators 1 year Life
w) bringing the game into disrepute 6 weeks Life
x)deliberately misleading the Disciplinary Committee 10 weeks 2 years
In cases or repetition, that is, the same player during the same season is reported for other offences, even if the infraction is not of the same nature, more severe sanctions must be taken.
Should a player be sent from the court with a RED card, the player is automatically suspended for one week. Soccer NSW Futsal will advise as to the duration of any additional suspension.
